Our First Blog :)

Well, after a few nudges from Kelli, I finally started a blog to keep everyone posted on what is going on with us. Nothing really exciting has been going on, but I'm sure in the coming weeks, that will change. We are pretty much ready for the baby to come now, I couldn't have said that a week ago. We've been busy running around trying to get everything together that we think we will need. I'm sure that we have overlooked plenty of things though, and Robert will be making lots of trips to the store in the next few weeks.
I've also been running around quite a bit this last week to try to get Christmas taken care of. I should have been doing that months ago, but procrastination is one of my specialties! I did alot of shopping last week. Actually I don't think you could say that I did alot of shopping, because I could not find too much. But I did do alot of running around, trying to shop. Either way I spent plenty of time at the mall, and other stores, looking for those perfect gifts. I'm not too sure they exist, but at least I gave it a shot. I was also hoping that with all the running around, that might jump-start labor, but no such luck. It's just a waiting game now. Then on Saturday, we went out to our storage unit, and after about 45 minutes of wrestling with boxes, Robert finally found some of our Christmas decorations. It's always fun to put up the tree, we have not done that for the last two years, so I was happy to finally get it done!
Also, as if getting ready for Christmas and a baby is not enough, we are trying to pick out options for our house. Robert does not have a whole lot of spare time during the day to do that, and I don't like going alone, so finding time to get that done is not easy. Good thing mom is in the same position as I am, we spent half a day trying to figure out flooring and granite for our homes. Hopefully I can make some definate decisions on things before it's too late. I'm sure it will be even more difficult to find time after the baby comes! But overall, I have to say that things are going good. Robert is keeping busy with work, but still makes sure he gets some time in to have fun and to relax. Just the other night, Chris and Troy came over for the Mayweather/Hatton fight. I think they all had a good time. I don't mind watching that stuff, but I know he enjoys it, so it's ok with me. Well I think I'll call that good for my first attempt! We'll keep everyone posted in the next little bit, hopefully we will have some good news to report in the next week or so!

Yay--I'm excited to see the baby when he comes, too! I think Jason's getting tired of me asking if there's any news yet!
